IP-Commons Valuation is based on the EPO IPScore® 3.0 Methodology, aimed at supporting the analysis, visualization and documentation of the strengths and weaknesses of patent portfolios and research projects.
It is, in effect, an independent online version of the Excel workbook distributed at that link — rebuilt as an interactive web app, following the same scoring logic, risk/opportunity weighting and financial forecast formulas, so it can be used directly in the browser without installing Excel or enabling macros.
